EvalTools® Survey is a comprehensive and easy-to-use survey creation and management toolset. It can generate surveys for use in a classroom environment or non-classroom environment.
For a classroom environment survey such as the Course-Exit Survey, the users are the students in the class. As a result, the database for a classroom environment survey is usually populated with the assistance of your system administrator. However, the survey participants for a non-classroom environment, such as the senior-exit survey, are not necessary from any class roster. Hence, you will need to define or create your users or survey participants. In either case, EvalTools Survey makes the survey creation process easy.
There is no limitation on how many costumed surveys you can create. You can deploy a custom survey for a specific study or to a targeted audience on or off campus.
With these combinations of available formats of questionnaires, you can effectively create any survey you wish. In addition, EvalTools® Survey provides longitudinal data analysis capability if you deploy the same study for multiple cycles.
EvalTools® Survey includes pre-defined templates for both categories of course assessment and general surveys. We have the solution for you regardless of how you intend to deploy your surveys for a specific study or a campus-wide survey to replace the traditional paper survey.
In this category, there are three main types of surveys:

EvalTools® provides a standard template for a senior-exit survey. EvalTools® provides features that allow you to use your school database and enter new survey participants that are not in your school database. You may modify/edit some of the standard questionnaires during the creation process or later.
You can create any survey format instantly and be ready to deploy. What sets EvalTools® survey features apart from others is the tracking mechanism of the data collected, even over multiple terms.
Following are highlights of EvalTools® in the general survey category:
The course-exit survey is created to handle an entire department's course assessment or all the departments' course assessments within a college. The whole university can effectively use it with only a single survey deployment. EvalTools® allows you to select specific departments to be included in any given survey deployment.
General Course Assessment Survey is the survey to replace your traditional end-of-term class paper survey. EvalTools Survey summarizes and categorizes your data according to each questionnaire section and department.
The Outcomes-based Course-Assessment Survey contains the traditional questionnaires you used at the end of the semester to collect input from students regarding their classes' teaching. More importantly, an Outcomes-based Course Assessment Survey captures students' perception of attaining the corresponding course outcomes. The indirect survey instrument is an integrated part of the EvalTools® OAS.
The main difference between an Employer Survey and a General Survey is the structural relationship between users. Employers are the ones who take the survey to evaluate their students/interns. We use the term "Employer Survey" to identify surveys with this type of user relation.
Employer Survey is adaptable to clinical studies where students working for doctors require periodical evaluations.
For the Employer Survey, one super user manages the site, consisting of participating employers. Each employer has N number of students. The super user is logically the one who is responsible for sending emails to employers to inform them of the survey and monitors every aspect of survey activities.
